American Women's Services of Erie Abortion Facility

DEMONSTRATION TODAY

There will be a public demonstration today from noon to 1:00 PM in opposition to the opening of the "American Women's Services of Erie" abortion facility. The demonstration will take place at the1611 Peach Street Professional Building, where the abortion facility is located. Participants will gather on the State Street side of the building. Well over 350 demonstrations have taken place at this location since October 1999. (American Women's Services is a fictitious name, registered in Pennsylvania to a non-profit corporation, Associates in Obstetrics and Gynecology, of which Steven C. Brigham, MD is listed as the secretary, treasurer, and chief executive officer.)

ONGOING RENOVATION WORK

Dr. Steven C. Brigham regained full access to his office space in the Professional Building just last month. Since then, renovation work has begun and is proceeding on a daily basis.

DELIVERY OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES

UPS delivered several large handcart loads of medical supplies to the abortion facility last Thursday. Photographs of that event can be seen at https://peopleforlife.org/album08.html.

TELEPHONE INSTALLATION

Today, in addition to the ongoing renovation work, two gentlemen, ostensibly from out of town, will be installing telephone equipment in the abortion facility. (Those doing the ongoing renovation work are ostensibly from Pittsburgh.)

PEOPLE FOR LIFE'S PROFESSIONAL BUILDING OFFICE OPEN TODAY

People for Life has initiated regularly scheduled hours in Suite 321, but regular hours are currently scheduled on Thursdays only. However, the office is staffed at random times all through the week. The office will be open today from about 11:00 AM until at least 2:00 PM.

ADDITIONAL DEMONSTRATION THIS THURSDAY

People for Life volunteers will conduct a second weekday demonstration this week, on Thursday from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM or later. This will coincide with the annual meeting of the Professional Building condominium association. This demonstration is being arranged on short notice, whereas most of our demonstrations are scheduled weeks in advance. We are expecting a significant amount of participation, nevertheless.
