Demonstration Today | March for Life bus trip begins tomorrow night

Demonstration Today

People for Life will hold a routine demonstration outside the 1611 Peach Street Professional Building today, from Noon to 1:00 PM. The demonstration is intended to advise the Erie area that the opening of an abortion business in the Professional Building is becoming more, not less, likely, despite the passage of three years since plans for the abortion facility were first brought to light. The demonstration is also intended to say to everyone concerned: The killing of unborn children will NEVER be regarded as an inevitable part of life in the Erie area. It will always be perceived as a barbaric affront to humanity itself, and it will always be met with deliberate, sustained and very public, albeit legal and peaceful, opposition in words and deeds.

March for Life Bus Trip

At this time, about 100 people are expected to travel to the Washington, DC March for Life with People for Life, including some high school students and students from Mercyhurst College and Gannon University.

A brief summary of the bus trip activities is given below.

People for Life is willing to provide live reports via mobile phone to Erie area news departments while the bus trip is in progress.

The bus trip and the March for Life are organized to protest the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision, which was issued on January 22, 1973. The decision fraudulently claimed that a right to unlimited abortion-on-demand is to be found in the Constitution of the United States of America. The bus trip and March are also intended to express support for, and solidarity with, our many pro-life government leaders, including President George W. Bush, Senator Rick Santorum, and Congressman Phil English.
