Two Demonstrations this Weekend - National Right to Life Convention

There will be anti-abortion demonstrations at 1611 Peach Street this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday demonstration will take place from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Sunday's demonstration will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Later next week, PFL president Tim Broderick and another PFL volunteer will attend the annual National Right to Life Convention, being held this year in Charlotte, North Carolina. The convention runs for a full three days, next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Among the convention speakers will be the popular radio and television talk show host Sean Hannity, Pat Boone, Mark Pickup, a well-known and highly regarded Canadian disability rights advocate, and Fr. Frank Pavone, the international director of Priests for Life and a favorite target for derision among pro-abortion activists.

The convention is sponsored by the National Right to Life Committee. Headquartered at 419 7th St. N.W., Washington, DC, the NRLC is the largest pro-life organization in the United States and the parent organization of Erie's People for Life.

Next year, the NRL Convention will be held in Pittsburgh, PA.
