Demonstation Tomorrow at Site of Pending
Abortion Mill in Shadow of New Pro-Life Billboard

People for Life will join with other members of the community to conduct a public demonstration on Thursday, August 31, 2000 from NOON to 1:00 PM, to oppose the opening of an abortion facility in Erie. The demonstration, No. 91, will take place at the Professional Building, 1611 Peach St., Erie. Ads in the local Yellow Pages indicate that Dr. Steven Brigham intends carry out abortions up to the SEVENTH MONTH at this location.

This will be the first demonstration conducted at 1611 Peach St. since the fabulous new pro-life billboard was erected just north of the Professional Building, on Peach St. "The billboard now stands as a bright beacon of hope and love against the bone chilling, blood curdling prospect of a child killing center in downtown Erie," commented Tim Broderick, the current president of People for Life. "This billboard is going to save many lives. It is entirely possible that lives have been saved already!"

People for Life has been circulating a form that people can sign to declare that an assembly line abortion mill is not welcome in northwestern Pennsylvania and that, if a killing facility opens its doors in the Erie area, they intend to do everything they personally can to make the ensuing abortion-killings as rare as rare as possible. So far, 22,194 signatures have been gathered.
