Sidewalk Counseling Workshop
Ann and Ann Louise are a mother and daughter team with many years of first-hand experience in opposing abortion, in the City of Chicago and around the nation. Probably no one is better qualified to speak to our community about responding to the threat and the challenge of an abortion facility. People for Life continues to encourage our community to totally reject the opening of any such facility. We are nevertheless looking to Ann and Ann Louise to begin preparing us to continue the struggle to save human lives, should an abortion facility materialize-despite the community's best efforts to stop it. As People for Life's current president, Tim Broderick, recently observed, "Well over 20,000 area residents have signed People for Life's statement of opposition to the abortion facility. That statement concludes with the words, We are committed to protecting area women and unborn children from the violence of abortion through every legal and peaceful means available. It would certainly be a tragedy if lives were lost to a local abortion facility simply because our community overlooked-or chose to ignore-certain practical and effective lifesaving techniques." Saturday's workshop is intended to help ensure that no such oversights occur. Also on Saturday, there will be a sidewalk demonstration from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the 1611 Peach St. Professional Building in Erie. Dr. Steven Brigham, the out-of-state abortionist and owner of numerous assembly-line abortion mills, is currently proceeding with plans to locate another one of his facilities in the Professional Building.
