Update . . .
(September 3, 1997) The Walk and Solemn Assembly referred to below took place as planned. An estimated 2700 people were present at the Assembly, according to Citizens Concerned for Human Life, as reported by Jim Hannah of the Centre Daily Times.

The abortion facility administrator was present for the demonstration. He is quoted by the Centre Daily Times as saying, "Them coming here and praying isn't going to make a difference," and, "What's God going to do? Strike me down?"

"All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."
