Mother's Day
Carnation Project

Volunteers needed

Volunteers from the Erie, Pennsylvania area are needed to help with People for Life's Annual Mother's Day Carnation Project. Lots of help will be needed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the Mother's Day weekend.

Upwards of 20,000 beautiful carnations must be processed for distribution to locations across Erie County and down into Crawford County. Tasks include washing and labeling buckets, counting and prepping the flowers, transporting some of the flowers, and responding to requests for extra carnations throughout the day on Sunday.

If you would like to help, even for an hour or two, please call the office at 814-459-1333 or drop us a line by email as soon as possible.

Carnations will be available directly from People for Life, as well as at remote locations, during the Mother's Day weekend for suggested donations of $1.00 each, $5.00 a half-dozen, and $10.00 a dozen. Many colors and several different varieties will be available. The proceeds are essential to carrying out our mission of informing the public about abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, assisted suicide, and the need for pro-life countermeasures.
